I love my life. Love it.
I work hard running my business, but I get to play hard, too.
I often find the time to get in a round or two of golf.
I enjoy going to watch a number of sporting events, I even get to Wimbledon each year to watch a game.
Then there’s the happy fact I spend lots of time with my wife and daughter as well.
My life is good… no, great. I wouldn’t swap it for the world.
And I want you to have a life you love, too.
Who wants to be a millionaire? (I don’t)
I enjoy running a business.
I like the challenges of business.
Am I interested in being a millionaire? No. Couldn’t care less.
I’m not trying to be the next Lord Sugar, although I admire his phenomenal achievements in business.
That’s not why I’m in this.
I do what I do to help people break through the £10,000 barrier each month so they can build the life they want for themselves.
That means helping them put an end to working weekends in the office.
It means allowing them to saying goodbye to 12 hour days during the week.
….And enabling them to say hello to spending more time with their family and doing all the things they want to do, not just run a successful business.
That’s what makes my business so rewarding.
That’s my why.
Why you need to balance your work and your life
We all need a good work–life balance.
No matter how much we love our business, it should never consume our whole life.
We hear of the hustle… of all the blood, sweat and tears you’ve got to shed to build a successful business and keep it going.
Now, I’m not saying there won’t be late nights from time to time.
You’ve got to graft… don’t get me wrong, but you still need that work-life balance.
You need it for your health.
You need it for your productivity.
Without that balance, you’ll hate your work.
You’ll miss out on social events because you’re too busy wrestling with spreadsheets or on business calls.
You won’t get any ‘me’ time. You won’t do the things you love.
Let me tell you the story of when my daughter knocked the phone out of my hands and into the bushes because I wasn’t spending quality time with her … on her birthday, of all days …. https://www.ash-taylor.co.uk/about-ash/
That was a wake-up call. It changed my whole attitude and approach towards how I run my business.
My approach had already started to take a toll on my personal life. Now this was happening with my daughter.
I knew something had to change.
You’ve got to get that work–life balance right. The time you spend with your loved ones is precious.
Don’t just chase the millions all the time.
Fancy my life?
I’m not trying to make you a millionaire. That’s not what I do.
I want to help you to grow your business and make the changes necessary so you can have the life you want.
You’ll make more money, of course, but this is more than just about money.
It’s about running your business more efficiently, not just so that it’s more profitable, but also so it leaves you with free time for the things you want to do.
I don’t want your children to give up on you the way my daughter almost gave up on me.
I’m glad she did what she did.
It made me make changes for the better.
If she hadn’t, I might not have the amazing life I have now… one in which I spend plenty of time with my family and get to do the things I love, as well as run a successful business.
I want you to have the same kind of life as me.
The one you want.
The one you deserve.
How about it?
